Editorial Policy

Our “CSR site” intends to provide information on our perspectives and efforts towards CSR/ESGs to a wide range of stakeholders of the Tamura Group. We have been working hard to realize easy-to-understand and useful information disclosure as a way of helping readers deepen their understanding of the Company's activities.
In editing this site, the “Environmental Reporting Guidelines” of the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) of Japan, and the “ISO26000” Guidance Standard on Social Responsibility were referred to.

“Tamura Corporation Report 2021” is aimed at reporting value creation through the Group's business activities and main corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and shall be used as a tool for communication with stakeholders.

April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 (Includes some activities in or after April 2021)

This site covers the activities of Tamura Corporation and its group companies.
For the Environmental Performance Report, however, various data and activity reports covers only the business sites and affiliated companies that are included in the implementation framework diagram on of this site.

Publication date
August 2021 (Previous report: September 2020; next report: due in August 2022)
We will post updated information on CSR activities at the CSR site as needed and announce it on CSR News.

Report to the UN Global Compact
Tamura hereby submits the contents of “CSR” sites and the “Tamura Corporation Report” to the United Nations Global Compact as the “Communication on Progress,” an annual activity report from signatory companies of the initiative.
