Editorial Policy

Our “CSR” site is intended to have the stakeholders of the Tamura Group understand its CSR initiatives. CSR is an integral part of the Group's corporate activities, and out of this recognition, the site aims to describe in an easy-to-understand way how Tamura is carrying out CSR activities through its business operations.
In editing this site, the “Environmental Reporting Guidelines (2018 Version)” of the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) of Japan, and the “ISO26000” Guidance Standard on Social Responsibility were referred to.

“Tamura Corporation Report 2019” is published to introduce the Tamura Group in a single volume by combining the Corporate Profile, which outlines the Group and its businesses, and the CSR Report Digest, which summarizes the Group's CSR initiatives.

April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 (Includes some activities in or after April 2019)

This site covers the activities of Tamura Corporation and its group companies.
For the Environmental Performance Report, however, various data and activity reports covers only the business sites and affiliated companies that are included in the implementation framework diagram on of this site.

August 2019 (Previous report: August 2018; next report: due in August 2020)
We will post updated information on CSR activities at the CSR site as needed and announce it on CSR News.

Report to the UN Global Compact
Tamura hereby submits the contents of “CSR” sites and the “Tamura Corporation Report” to the United Nations Global Compact as the “Communication on Progress,” an annual activity report from signatory companies of the initiative.
