Tamura Group Environmental Targets, Performance, and Evaluation

The Tamura Group has taken the initiative in environmental protection by setting three common targets: “increasing the percentage sales of eco-design products,” “reducing substances of concern,” and “reducing power consumption,” which are the main measures specified in its environmental policy.
In FY2018, the target of “reducing power consumption” was attained, whereas “increasing the percentage sales of eco-design products” and “reducing substances of concern” were slightly below their respective targets. Efforts to improve the management & processes and review works related to environmentally hazardous substances that we are currently addressing will be continued.
