Previously, in the Chinese operations of the Tamura Group, several group subsidiaries located in China manufactured products in each business segment and Tamura Corp. basically sold them to customers through its Hong Kong Branch. However, as the selling of products through its Hong Kong Branch has lost its significance, Tamura Corporation has decided to change its current sales system by gradually transferring its sales arm to Tamura Corporation of Hong Kong Ltd., a company that supervises all Chinese operations of the Group. The Hong Kong Branch of Tamura Corp. has transferred all business assets and liabilities except accounts receivable and accounts payable to Tamura Corporation of Hong Kong Ltd. All accounts receivable and payable on and before September 30, 2011 will be settled by the Hong Kong Branch, but on and after October 1, 2011, all new orders will be placed and accepted by Tamura Corporation of Hong Kong. All backlogs of orders at the Hong Kong Branch were also transferred to Tamura Corporation of Hong Kong as of October 1, 2011.
