TAMURA Corporation (Headquarters: Nerima Ward, Tokyo; President: Naoki Tamura) will exhibit at the Inter BEE 2009 November 18-20 at Makuhari Messe.
TAMURA's exhibition this time will focus on a lineup that offers high-quality sound for terrestrial digital broadcasting from large-sized to portable mixers based on the concept "TAMURA Sound goes Brilliant." Since TAMURA Group is also involved in the LED business, we will introduce a visible light communication wireless intercom which is a "communication system that uses LEDs for the lighting."
Also as a reference item, the newly developed Type A Professional Digital Wireless Mic System will be exhibited.

·AMX-12D Digital Portable Mixer
This model inherits the functions of TAMURA's AMX-12ST analog portable mixer and provides the same operability of AMX-12ST so that nearly all functions can be operated with one touch, so it is optimal for live broadcasting. In addition, it is equipped with surround output and a down mix monitor, so it also can be used for surround broadcasts. The lightweight (15 kg) and low power consumption (90W) design allow it to be mounted in a 19-inch rack using the optional rack mounting kit and to be installed in OB-Van.
The other characteristics are as follows.
- Provides 2 Stereo Group bus output and 3 AUX bus in addition to Stereo Master output. Surround output is also available by using Stereo Master and Groups.
- Each input, Stereo Master, and Group output have limiter to adjust the amplification, suppress overly loud sounds automatically, and prevent distortion. (Auto Release)
- Both AC power and DC battery operation can be used for the power supply. Operates for approximately 1.5 hrs on batteries (when using IDX ENDURA-10).
- Supports cascade connection on the digital level. Two units can be connected in cascade or an optional unit can be connected with AMX-12ST. by cascade connect.
·AMQ1100 Digital Mixer
The AMQ1100 digital mixer for terrestrial digital broadcasting that was introduced in August 2007 will be exhibited.
This model inherits the design concept of TAMURA's higher grade model: AMQ7700 while being approximately 50% smaller to fit in a wide range of control rooms. It features a stylish design while providing good cost-performance, convenient one-touch operation, reliability and stability required of broadcasting equipment for live television and radio broadcasts by adopting decentralization and multiplexing, which has made it very popular in Japan and abroad. 40 units already have been ordered and delivered in Japan, and after delivery to China Central Television (CCTV) or China's largest national television company, it was mainly used for live broadcasts of the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics.

Taking advantage of the revision to the Radio Law that allows the use of a wireless mic with digital signals, TAMURA developed and sold the Type B Digital Wireless Mic System last year, and this year we have developed the Type A Professional Digital Wireless Mic System which will be a reference product this time.
Since this wireless mic system utilizes the digital characteristics, it resists electromagnetic interference and maintains a high S/N even when they are in weak electric fields. In addition, proprietary technology is used to develop a high-quality mic head. In addition, an ENG receiving unit that supports simultaneous input audio in the camera will also be developed
.·Visible Light Communication "Optical Intercom System"
The visible light communication Optical Intercom System utilizing the fluorescent light tube shaped LED lamps of Group company KOHA Co., Ltd. has been developed and is already functioning as a fluorescent light in machine rooms, and this LED lighting application product can function as a communication device. It is gaining attention as a wireless communication means (licensing not required) for areas where radio communication is prohibited (hospitals, equipment rooms, etc.) and where they want to increase the number of radio channels because the light can be used for wireless communication without impacting other electronic components.
