The main focus of the Tamura Group's business is the design, development, production and servicing of electronic components, electro-chemical materials, soldering equipment and information equipment. Our environmental management system ensures the efficient use of resources, pollution prevention and compliance with regulations. We are also committed to continuously improving the management system and focus on the following activities for environmental protection:

| In order to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society, the Tamura Group built a group-wide integrated ISO14001-certified EMS in 2006 and is engaged in improving the EMS for the group as a whole and enhancing environmental governance. |

The Tamura Group acquires the global integrated certification of 15 companies which included overseas factories.

| The Tamura Group EMS Committee was formed for the implementation of the EMS. It is headed by President Tamura and supervised by the General Environmental Managing Representative, with heads of respective business divisions as committee members. The committee is working to raise the environmental performance of the Group as a whole, making improvements where necessary and implementing activities across the board. |
